"Tendai was the rock of our family. His patience and wisdom guided us through good times and bad. He always put others before himself, whether it was staying late to help a struggling student or tending to his garden to share vegetables with neighbors."

"For 25 years, I had the privilege of teaching alongside Tendai. His dedication to his students was unmatched. He would often come in early and leave late, always available to help anyone who needed it. The teaching community has lost one of its brightest lights."

"Uncle Tendai was like a father to me after I lost my parents. Every Sunday after church, he would invite me over for lunch and ask about my studies. He helped me with my math homework all through high school, and I wouldn't have passed my O-Levels without his patience and encouragement. He had this amazing way of explaining things until you finally understood."

"Mr. Mupfumi was the reason I became a teacher myself. His passion for mathematics was contagious, and he had this incredible ability to make complex concepts simple. Even 20 years later, I still use some of his teaching methods in my own classroom. He leaves behind a legacy of hundreds of students whose lives he touched. Rest well, sir. Your lessons live on through all of us."

"I'll always remember Tendai's beautiful garden - it was his pride and joy. He would often give us fresh vegetables from his garden, especially during the difficult times. He was always looking out for others in the community. The Highfield neighborhood won't be the same without him. We've lost not just a neighbor, but a true friend who always had time to chat and offer advice."
